A Word From Me......
“Dreams. Declare them Early”
I always knew that I would write a book someday. I started a few but just didn’t know when or how I would finish one. But that’s the funny thing about life. Every step along the way is a mystery waiting to be revealed. I’m glad I was finally unveiled. God is amazing.
I want to give thanks to God but in a different way. I want to give thanks to the man above for delivering me and enabling me to share my gift with the world. Writing this book was truly an amazing journey. A journey of learning the importance of love, life and the things that give you a reason to keep moving forward.
I started writing this book on 1-11-11 after I declared that it was time that I release the hold on my gift and finally finish a book this year. I didn’t know exactly how or what I was going to write about but I knew that I wanted to write something that would speak to readers. I declared on this day 1-11-11 that it shall be done.
However, as we all know life continues without us ever knowing what the end result will be. I held onto the prologue for about 3 months before I wrote chapter one. It wasn’t until I experienced a little bit of sadness that I really started to write the book in late April. After two trying months, I continued to weather the storm refusing to give up.
In writing this book I became one with each individual character. In doing so, I was able to open myself up and allow the words to flow freely. As I almost reached the end, I let go and allowed God to take over my mind, body and spirit. In doing so, many new creative doors began to open for me. My word choices and creativity was becoming something unimaginable. Music played a huge part in this writing process as you may have noticed throughout the book.
However, I still didn’t feel that I could end it. Therefore, I allowed myself to step away from it for three months with another promise that I would eventually finish.
During those three months my life changed. My way of thinking changed. I believe my whole disposition changed. I was taken on a spiritual journey that I still can’t explain to anyone if I were asked to this very day. However, I am so thankful and grateful that I was enabled.
It wasn’t until the end of September that I was able to finish the last chapters of the book in one week. God is so good.
I hope that in reading this that you will be taken on a journey. If you are dealing with any issues in life, I hope that you will find a way to face those things and let go so that you to will be able to move forward with your life.
God Bless
